The Pixel Odyssey gives you a recap of their LA Trip!
BeautyCon and Los Angeles Trip Recap
Our main propose for visiting Los Angeles, CA this time was for attending BeautyCon LA for the first time. We were really excited to connect with other Bloggers/Youtubers and meet some favorites that we follow. Long story short, it was one of the most unorganized and hectic events we have been to. The lines were incredibly long, tickets were over sold, and the building got shut down due to a fire hazard. Our expectations were so high and unfortunately ended in a big disappointment. Last minute we were able to finally find our free goodie bag and meet 1 Youtuber. April and I were so happy that we at least got 1 meet up in and it was Kandee Johnson. We connect to this lovely lady in a special way, if you don’t know her story of losing her dad, you have to look it up on Youtube. April shared our story and how much of an encouragement she has been for us to live out our life in the best possible way in honor of our dad. We are big daddy’s girls so it is far from easy but we want to honor him and make him proud. Even though the whole event was terrible, meeting Kandee literally meant everything.
Also, for the first time I was able to try Sprinkles Cupcakes and use their cupcake ATM machine.
It is open 24 hours and you can pick what flavor you want and it opens the little compartment with your cupcake in a box.
Everyone always raves about these cupcakes and I don’t know if it was just because it was at the ATM but I wasn’t impressed with the cupcake!
The Americana at Brand is such a beautiful spot for food, relaxing and shopping!
Bottega Louie was literally so chic, classy and gorgeous. This traditional french cafe is covered in colorful macrons!
Caffe Bellagio is located in the 3rd street promenade in Santa Monica. This was literally so delicious and creamy smooth. I got two tropical flavors together “Lemoncello” and “Watermelon” hands down best Gelato I have had!
These French Macarons were so delicious and perfectly made.
We found them tucked in a corner at The Americana at Brand shopping center.
From a small shop called Napoleons
We had a blast and found some really pretty places to take photos! Until next time LA…..
